Terms of Service
Terms of Service
Effective date: May 5, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Wellow(“Wellow,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the website at wellow.fyi (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Wellow turns a sentence about how you think the world works, or about how you think you should live, into a structured artifact: an investment thesis (Research mode at /) or a philosophical worldview (Philosophy mode at /thinking). Each generated artifact is saved at an unlisted, read-only URL for ninety (90) days, after which it is deleted automatically. The Service is provided on an “as is” basis without warranty of any kind.
2. Fulfillment and pricing
The Service is currently offered free of charge. Each successful generation request is fulfilled by streaming the structured artifact back to you in real time and persisting it under a unique unlisted slug for the retention window stated above.
- Delivery method: instant in-browser streaming followed by a shareable URL.
- Delivery time: typically under sixty (60) seconds per generation; subject to upstream model latency and your network conditions.
- Fees: none for the current product. Should we introduce paid tiers in the future, those Terms will be presented and accepted before any charge is made.
- Refunds and cancellations: not applicable while the Service is free. If paid tiers are introduced, a separate refund policy will be provided at the point of purchase.
- Rate limits: ten (10) generations per IP address per twenty-four (24) hour rolling window, shared across both modes. Limits may change as the Service evolves.
- Failed generations: if a generation fails (model error, schema validation failure, or infrastructure outage), no record is saved and no rate limit is consumed for the failed call. You may retry.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and if you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. The Service is not directed to children under 13.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to generate, store, or distribute content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, infringing, or that violates the rights of others.
- Attempt to circumvent the rate limits, access controls, or security measures of the Service.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code, prompts, or internal infrastructure of the Service, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Use automated means (bots, scripts, scrapers) to generate or retrieve artifacts at a rate inconsistent with normal individual use.
- Use the Service to develop a product or service that competes with the Service, or to train a machine learning model.
- Submit content that contains personal data of third parties without a lawful basis to do so.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for any user who violates these Terms or whose use we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to the Service or to other users.
5. Not financial, legal, or professional advice
The Service produces educational and exploratory artifacts. Nothing generated by the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal, medical, psychological, or life-coaching advice. The Research mode is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security; the Philosophy mode is not a substitute for professional counsel of any kind. You are solely responsible for any decision you make based on artifacts generated by the Service. Conduct your own research and consult licensed professionals where appropriate.
6. Your content and license
You retain ownership of the conviction or belief text you submit (“Your Content”). By submitting Your Content, you grant Wellow a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display, and process Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service, including transmitting Your Content to upstream model providers (e.g., Google) for the purpose of generating the requested artifact.
Generated artifacts are produced by an AI model from Your Content. To the extent any rights subsist in such output, we grant you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, share, and adapt the generated artifact for personal or commercial purposes, provided your use does not violate these Terms or applicable law.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, logos, and the curated philosopher database used in the Philosophy mode, is owned by Wellow or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights granted in Section 6, no rights are granted to you in the Service or its underlying components.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting, storage, model inference, market data, and analytics (each as described in our Privacy Policy). Your use of the Service is subject to those providers’ terms where applicable, and we are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR USEFULNESS OF ANY GENERATED ARTIFACT, AND WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY LIABILITY FOR DECISIONS YOU MAKE IN RELIANCE ON THEM.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WELLOW OR ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Wellow and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. The provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5 through 13) will survive.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the “Effective date” above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of an updated version constitutes acceptance of the changes.
